If your friend likes keeping their bike minimal and rides without a basket or panniers but still likes doing utilitarian stuff then The Bag Buddy could be a good gift. I say ‘could’ because it looks like you need to balance 2 bags onto a Bag Buddy at a time but you don’t necessarily come out of a shop with 2 shopping bags.

I wonder if those bag buddies would fit on a Bixi handlebar. I often find myself trying to balance my purse because I already have a bag in the basket. Hmmm.
Oh, and I was thinking that you can probably put the two handles on either side if that’s what’s needed to balance it.
